Build your next chapter

Have a technology challenge in mind?

Let’s talk about it hello@ideawave.co

Our expertise / Product & software development

Build the product your users need.
With a clear path to launch.

Bring an idea, a prototype or a product that needs to improve. We connect product thinking, design and engineering to turn it into software that fits your business.

Founder-led · Agreed scope · Direct collaboration

Built around your priorities

Product & software development

From a focused review to an agreed delivery workstream, we shape the work around what you need.

Is this where you are?

A good fit when
the next step feels unclear.

For founders and product teams who need to turn a business objective into a deliverable product.

  • 01

You have an idea, but the first release keeps getting bigger.

  • 02

Your prototype needs engineering to become a working product.

  • 03

Existing software is limiting how your business operates.

Where we can help

The expertise behind your next step.

Discovery, design, development and ongoing support can be scoped separately around your priorities.

01

Product discovery & MVP scope

Identify the problem, users and essential journeys. Define what belongs in the first release and what can wait.

02

Custom software development

Build web applications, operational platforms and backend services around the requirements agreed with your team.

03

Integrations & modernisation

Connect APIs and business systems, improve existing code and plan changes without losing sight of day-to-day operations.

04

Launch & handover

Prepare deployment, testing, documentation and operational ownership so the release has a clear home after delivery.

How the engagement works

Clarity at every stage.

  1. STEP 01

    Define the useful first version

Understand the users and business model, then agree what the product needs to prove or improve.

  2. STEP 02

    Design and build in increments

Turn agreed user journeys into working software, with regular reviews and explicit decisions about scope.

  3. STEP 03

    Prepare for real use

Test the release, plan deployment and give your team the documentation and handover needed to operate it.

Product work you can explore

Built by the team behind OneSequence.

OneSequence is our own software product. Its workflow experience brings together interface design, application engineering and integrations, showing how these capabilities connect in practice.

Start with a focused engagement

Product / MVP Discovery Sprint

Turn a promising idea or an uncertain backlog into a clear first-release plan. A focused discovery engagement helps you make product and technical decisions before a larger development commitment.

Before we get started

Your questions,
answered.

Can you take over an existing product?

Yes, subject to a review of the code, documentation and deployment environment. That review helps us identify risks and agree a realistic scope before development begins.

Do you build MVPs?

Yes. We start by defining the smallest useful release for your users and business. A discovery sprint can help establish the scope before you commit to the build.

Who owns the code and deliverables?

Ownership, licensing and third-party dependencies are set out in the engagement agreement before work begins. We also agree what documentation and access you will receive at handover.

How do you estimate cost and timeline?

We assess the product scope, integrations, technical constraints and delivery responsibilities. If these are still uncertain, discovery is a practical first step toward a proposal.

A clear next step

Discuss your product.

Tell us where you are today and what you want to improve. We’ll discuss the fit and propose a scope before any work begins.
